Quick Start Guide
Install and Launch SE.
To start working with a new file go to File->Start New Project
In Source WAVE tab select the WAVE file you want to convert to MIDI,
After you've made your selection, the tab will change to Project Name.
Click Save As and type in desired project name. Click OK.
Project Settings tab will open automatically, leave default settings and click calculate.
The first group of buttons allows you to control play-head,

and works similarly to any other player program. You can play, go to the beginning, go to the end, pause and stop the melody being played.
Click on Play button and see the sound file being played. Click on stop to stop it.
The selector must be in Play mode

To start converting the melody to notes you will need to change to draw mode

Try to draw some lines (notes on diagram) click Play again. Now you can here the melody (wave file) and notes you've drown being played. Use volume slider to decrease the volume of wave sound. If you move the slider to the very right end, you will only hear you notes being played.
If you have a MIDI keyboard
If you are using midikeyboard, you can play keys while you are in editor/player tool, or while you are playing composition. To record notes from midikeyboard press a "Record" button and play the keys.
